Breakfast is a very special part of your stay at Alpine Haus Bed and Breakfast Inn. Each breakfast consists of four courses, which may include:

All entrees are served with thick-cut bacon or sausage, and cereals and granola are always available.

Please advise us in advance of any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate those needs. Guests with gluten & lactose-free diets are easily accommodated.

Early risers needing breakfast before 7:00 a.m.: we can arrange for a help-yourself breakfast or breakfast-to-go. Please notify us in advance.

Calico Rose Cafe at the Merry Go Round – Cafe and tearoom in a charming old Victorian home and gift shop. Open daily 11-3 lunch, 3-4 tea/desserts.  Hamburg 973-827-5578

CASUAL DINING
Irish Cottage Inn – The building’s exterior features an authentic thatch roof.  You may be greeted by Damian, one of the Irish owners. The menu offers a little of everything, but of course, the Irish standards; Shepherds Pie, Guinness Beef Stew, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Bangers & Mash and Fish & Chips.  Open daily for lunch & dinner.  602 Route 23, Franklin, NJ  973-827-2090

Milano’s – This very nice Italian restaurant is between casual and fine dining.  Good food and reasonably priced. It’s a BYOB so bring your own favorite wine or beer.  Open for lunch & dinner, closed Monday.   3673 Route 94, Hardyston, NJ  973-209-1212

Fetch – If you love dogs this is the place for you!  Needless to say the theme is dogs.  The walls are covered with photos of customers’ dogs.  There is a Humane Society sponsored Adopt-a-Dog wall.  This is the second location of a popular Manhattan restaurant serving inspired updates to American classics.  Open daily for lunch & dinner.  48 Main St, Warwick, NY  845-987-8200

Fratello – Family-style Italian restaurant.  Large menu but they are known for their specialty brick oven pizzas.  Watch them being made in the stone oven in the middle of the restaurant. Open daily for lunch & dinner.  22 Spring St, Warwick, NY  10990   845-986-7898

Iron Forge Inn & Tap Room – The Inn is located on the site of an historic forge in a revolutionary era home built in 1760.  Owned and operated by the Johanson family. The main level features fine dining prepared by a Culinary Institute of American graduate, Erik Johanson.  The Pub is located in the downstairs in the original 1760 cooking kitchen with stone walls and original fireplace.  A unique rustic experience featuring casual fare pub menu. Penning’s Harvest Grill & Brew Pub – Located in the farmers market at Penning’s Orchard.  Specialty sandwiches, salads, burger, fish & chips, daily specials.  Brew Pub features small batch regional beer, cider and wine.
